Meet the founder
Lara Brooks is the Founder of AceBrooks Consulting, a go-to-market (GTM) consulting firm specializing in helping early and growth stage tech companies develop and expand into the market. Lara’s expertise lies in forming go-to-market and revenue delivery strategies, and advising on customer acquisition and growth plans. Lara has over 15 year of experience in the tech industry and a proven track record of success in revenue leadership. Her goal is to provide actionable advice and ensuing support to entrepreneurs looking to grow their business, product, or service.
Lara is of French-Lebanese American descent and has a diverse upbringing that's afforded her an inclusive perspective on both life and work. After graduating from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas, she spent the early years of her career working with some of the world's largest retail and e-commerce brands such as Amazon, Walmart, and QVC. From there, Lara got into software sales where she spent the past 15 years in revenue leadership roles having served for two multi-billion-dollar tech companies where she helped scale revenues into the billions and had a successful IPO in 2014.
Highlights by the Numbers
2009
Lara was part of the early team at Paycom Software, and during her ten years there, she helped grow the company from $15M to $550M in revenues. She opened ten of the largest markets and was responsible for the entire customer lifecycle, and was a driving force in the company’s successful IPO in 2014. Today, Paycom is a $17B company.
2018
Lara was brought over to lead strategy and operations at DailyPay, a venture-backed tech start-up in NYC, where she established the infrastructure, systems, and processes necessary to support scalable growth across the business. By 2019, she was overseeing all of business revenue. Lara helped 60x the business in three years getting the company to unicorn status with millions of users leveraging their service. The company is $2B+ and has raised more than $250M in capital.
2021
Lara relocated from NYC to CA and began consulting early and growth stage tech companies. She launched AceBrooks Consulting to help tech companies reach their maximum growth potential. Lara is also an advisor at Act One Ventures, and an angel investor in early-stage companies.
